What was the inspiration behind starting up Ammos Collective? 

Ever since I was a child, I have had an obsession with the beach. I always loved anything that was re- related to spending time under the sun and by the sea. Having spent all my summers in Greece, I wanted to create a brand incorporating this part of myself. The hot, Mediterranean summer (which is an entire lifestyle), I knew I wanted to capsule that into my brand. 

One of the things I love about your work is your ability to incorporate 

your Greek heritage. Where does your inspiration usually come from? 

Nothing is more inspiring to me than spending time by the seaside somewhere in Greece. 

All my best ideas come when I find that moment of peace during the summer. It is the entire surrounding, the sound of the waves, the crystal clear water sparkling under the sun, the smell of the sea, and the buzzing restaurants by the shore. That is my true habitat. 

What story are you telling about the women who carry Ammos Collective? 

Women who are part of Ammos Collective are women who know how to enjoy life. It is about the small things that bring us so much joy. We should never forget that taking a moment to enjoy is what gives us the strength to perform in other parts of life. So I need to advocate for those quiet and silent moments of enjoyment. 

How would you explain the importance of brands like yours making 

steps to become more ethical and sustainable in today’s world? 

I think that in every sector, it is vital to have a sustainable business model to be relevant. 

Overconsumption is toxic for the environment and our mental health, so advocating for minimalism and longevity is a core value of Ammos Collective. 

What advice do you give young designers starting their collections? 

Stay true to your idea and keep going strong. You can achieve anything you put your mind to
